WHO AM I?

My name is Regina and I was born in Brazil. At the age of 20, I left my country and since then I have traveled the world. I have lived in Italy, Africa, India and currently reside in Amsterdam. My experience with Kundalini Yoga is simply fantastic, so much so that I call this Yoga “my medicine”! Kundalini helps me to maintain mental and physical health and increases my vitality. In my daily life, it gives me clarity to deal with life’s challenges.For me, it’s an invigorating elixir. I have been practicing it for 13 years. I did the teacher training between 2008-2009, in Amsterdam, at the Life Style Studio school.

KUNDALINI YOGA AND CORONAVIRUS

For all of us, this moment of the pandemic is something absolutely new. We do not remember having lived in times like this. For me, the regular practice of Yoga Kundalini helps me immensely to maintain my physical and mental health. In addition, I feel more refreshed! Western science exalts the importance  of exercise, yoga and meditation in order to help us deal with all the new challenges brought about by the pandemic.

WHAT IS KUNDALINI YOGA?

Kundalini Yoga is known as the first form of yoga practiced. The goal is to awaken the KUNDALINI Energy

WHAT IS KUNDALINI?

It is a latent energy that is located at the base of the spine. Through the exercises of  kundalini yoga, this energy travels through the spine, bringing vitality, physical and mental health.

HOW IS KUNDALINI YOGA CLASS?

It is a dynamic class, consisting of physical exercises, postures (which in Kundalini Yoga is called asanas), meditations, breathing exercises (pranayamas) and intonation of specific vowel chants (mantras). It aims to awaken your spiritual and creative potential.

HOW LONG DOES A KUNDALINI YOGA CLASS LAST?

A Kundalini yoga class lasts 1.5 hours.

HISTORY OF KUNDALINI YOGA

Kundalini Yoga is an ancient science, that migrated to the West in the late 1960s, with Yogi Bhajan (born in India). He said that a time would soon come when people would need something fast and efficient that would take them back to themselves and help them find all the potential they carry within them. I am grateful to Yogi Bhajan for this wonderful science that HELPS me so much.
