The practise of yoga( physical exercises= Asanas, breathing exercises and recitation of mantras helps to improve your hormonal functions. In this text I will dedicate to writing about some important hormones.

Adrenaline is one of the most important hormones that affect our mood. Others include cortisol wich affects metabolism and the immune system and plays an important function in helping the body respond to stress. Dopamine, the reward hormone that excites us and keeps us coming back for more pleasure and fun. Testosterone and oestrogen the hormnes that impact your masculine and feminine biology and also, lead to mood, swings as their concentration in our bodies change.

Then there are two important hormones, oxytocin, also known as the love hormone, wich helps create bonds between mother and child, and impacts on desire and intimacy, between couples .

Another important one is serotonin an inhibitory hormone that calms us down when we are OK with life as it is!!!!
